Redmi Note 3 was a great device with a terrible camera. Xiaomi has fixed that in the new Note 4. The new camera inside Note 4 is not the best camera out there but it is a decent one for a budget device. The display is sharp and bright and is covered by 2.5D tempered glass.
Inside the phone, you have the latest Snapdragon 625 chipset which is built on 14nm and is very efficient. A huge 4100 mAh battery with a power efficient chipset means you might get 2 days battery backup if you are not a heavy user.
The build quality is good as always but the metallic back makes the phone very slippery. We recommend putting a case on it to keep the display safe in case you accidentally drop it. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back which is quick and accurate.
Overall Redmi Note 4 is a great device with excellent battery backup under 15000. It is probably the best device in this range as of June 2017. Lenovo has gone with a metallic unibody design for the P2. The device is well-built and feels good in the hand. Lenovo has managed to keep the thickness of phone at around 8mm even after putting in a huge 5100mAh battery which is the USP of this device. The 5100mAh battery ensures a 2 to 3-day battery backup for normal users.
The display on the front is Super AMOLED which is another positive point for this phone. The display looks great with vivid colors and good viewing angles. Because it is an AMOLED display, you can expect savings in power if you use black wallpapers.
On the inside, there is a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. Snapdragon is a good mid-range chipset and is very power efficient because of the 14nm process technology. The storage is little disappointing because the expansion slot is hybrid and there is no 64GB variant available.

Moto E4 Plus is another budget device from Motorola in under Rs. 10000 range. The highlight of this device is its massive 5000mAh battery which can provide 2-3 days of backup. The device looks like Moto G5 Plus but slightly bigger because of the 5.5-inch display.
The build quality of the device is decent and the device looks good because of its metallic back. The back is removable and you can put 2 sim cards with a micro sd card of up to 128GB but the battery is not user removable. The display on the device is a 5.5 inch 720p HD display. The viewing angles are good and colors are accurate. It is expected to use less power because of its lower resolution.
Below the display, we have a fingerprint sensor and above the display, we have a 5MP camera with flash. It is good to see Motorola coming up with front flash in budget devices which will surely attract selfie lovers. On the back, we have a 13MP primary camera whose performance is decent for a device of this price range. Inside we have a MediatekMTK6737 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The storage and RAM numbers are good but the problem is with the chipset which is not powerful enough to handle heavy apps and games. So if you are a heavy user you should skip this device. We would have loved to see something like Snapdragon 435 which would have made E4 Plus the best device in under Rs. 10000.

Lenovo Z2 Plus is a very powerful device. It comes with Snapdragon 820 and in 32GB and 64GB model. It does not have any SD card slot and hence memory cannot be expanded. The battery is of 3500mAh and battery backup can be 1.5 days with normal usage.
In the context of gaming, there is no lag at all but the device gets heated in case of continuous extended gaming. The camera is very decent in the daylight but struggles in artificial lighting since it does not have laser auto focus or any optical image stabilization. Overall the phone is very powerful and after the price cut, it looks attractive to buy.

Coolpad Cool1 is built in collaboration between Coolpad and LeEco. It comes with Qualcomm 652 octa-core powerful processor. The phone has a metal body and is very sturdy to use, though a little higher on the weight side. It runs of LeEco EUI.
Regarding the camera, Cool1 is the first phone in this budget that offers a dual rear camera. The rear camera is a 13MP shooter and performance is simply brilliant, the color quality, saturation, auto focus all top the chart. The color reproduction is good and image quality is impressive. The front camera is a 8MP shooter and works fine.
The phone is sensor-rich and has all the needed sensors, like gyroscope, compass etc. The phone display is sharp, viewing angles are good. Coming to the gaming performance, this phone is a total disappointment. The extended gaming for about 15 minutes sees frame drop and a lot of heating issues on both the back and front. This clearly shows the poor optimization even on using such a powerful Qualcomm 652 processor. The battery comes with a capacity of 4060 mAh and would last for 1-2 days depending on usage. The phone does not support fast charging and takes about 2.5 hours for a full charge.
Overall Coolpad Cool 1 is for those who need dual camera experience with big battery under 15000.

10.or G or as spelled Tenor G is the latest android phone launched with Android Nougat 7.1.2 upgradable to Android Oreo and is exclusively available on Amazon India.
Tenor (10.or) G comes powered with Snapdragon 626, around 10% boost over the Snapdragon 625 seen in the Redmi Note 4, a direct competitor. Tenor G comes with a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved screen and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There is the metal body at back and plastic on top and bottom, with curved sides which allows easy gripping of the phone. The build quality is good but the looks are somewhat between decent to good.
However, the phone is super solid in the specifications and performance. Tenor (10.or) G comes with a Dual 13MP+13MP rear camera with Dual tone LED flash, one is a monochrome sensor that captures details, and the other is an RGB sensor that captures the color information. The front camera is a 16MP shooter. Both front and rear camera have a good shutter speed, with some inbuilt filters and beauty modes. Overall, in our initial reviews, the camera quality seems really appreciable at this price point. Tenor (10.or) G gives an option to use Bokeh effect to blur the background and an enhanced focus in a night shot.
10.or G comes with a massive 4000mAh battery and does not feel heavy considering the battery size. The battery for this in a normal day to day usage can easily last for 1.5 days.
