Redmi Note 3 was a great device with a terrible camera. Xiaomi has fixed that in the new Note 4. The new camera inside Note 4 is not the best camera out there but it is a decent one for a budget device. The display is sharp and bright and is covered by 2.5D tempered glass. The 2.5D gives a nice look to the front of the device.
Inside the phone, you have the latest Snapdragon 625 chipset which is built on 14nm and is very efficient. A huge 4100 mAh battery with a power efficient chipset means you might get 2 days battery backup if you are not a heavy user.
The build quality is good as always but the metallic back makes the phone very slippery. We recommend putting a case on it to keep the display safe in case you accidentally drop it. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back which is quick and accurate.
Overall Redmi Note 4 32GB at Rs.10999 is a great device and probably the best device in this range as of August 2017. You can go for 64GB version if you like to keep a lot of stuff on your phone. It will cost you 2000 more but still, it is great value for money. See full review.

Lenovo Z2 Plus is a very powerful device. The display is 5inch Full HD display. It comes with Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.It does not have any SD card slot and hence memory cannot be expanded.
The battery is 3500 mAh which is decent considering the small size of the device. The battery life is very good and can last for a day.
In the context of gaming, there is no lag at all but the device gets heated in case of extended gaming. The camera is very decent in the daylight but struggles in artificial lighting.
The device has dedicated sensors for health tracking and can be useful for people who like to keep track of their activity and fitness. The only thing one might not like about it is its looks which are not good or we can say there is nothing special about the looks.
Overall Lenovo Z2 Plus is a great device at his price. It was launched at Rs. 20000 but now at around Rs. 12000 it is a steal for those who need a powerful phone which can handle heavy games and multitasking. See full review.

Lenovo has gone with a metallic unibody design for the P2. The device is well built and feels good in the hand. Lenovo has managed to keep the thickness of phone at around 8mm even after putting in a huge 5100mAh battery which is the USP of this device. The 5100mAh battery ensures a 2-day battery backup for users.
The display on the front is Super AMOLED which is another positive point for this phone. The display looks great with vivid colours and good viewing angles. Because it is an AMOLED display, you can expect to save power if you use black wallpapers.
On the inside, there is a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. Snapdragon is a good mid range chipset and is very energy efficient because of the 14nm process technology. The storage is little disappointing because the expansion slot is hybrid and there is no 64GB variant available. There NFC available as well which is great considering the price point at which this device is being sold.

Honor 6X is the first mid range smartphone to have a dual camera at the back. The second camera at the back is used to capture depth which helps to give bokeh effect to your photos. Camera performance is decent for a phone in this range. Some shots come out really good in day light.
On the front, there is a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The display looks fine though colours are little washed out. On the inside, there is Kirin 655 chipset. Kirin chipsets are made by Honor so it helps them to improve profit margin. The chipset performs well and is efficient as well so no complaints regarding that.
There are 2 variants for 6X, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and other with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. If you are a heavy user then go with the 64GB variant. The battery is decent 3340mAh which will provide 1 to 2 days of backup depending on your usage.
Overall Honor 6X is a good mid range device. If you are going to use the camera a lot then go for 6X otherwise you should go for Redmi Note 4 which has better battery, better processor and slightly lower price. See full review.

Lenovo K5 Note comes with a metallic body in three colour variants. The Camera is above average and better compared to Redmi Note 3 and 4 but lags behind the camera quality of Moto G4 Plus and G5 plus. The fingerprint sensor on the back is quick and accurate.
The phone also has sensors like gyroscope enabling you to view the 360-degree youtube videos. The overall build quality in good and there is almost nil lag even in heavier games but faces some heating issues if you look for games like Asphalt or Fifa.
It does not support quick changing and takes about 2.5 hours for a full charge. With all these features it comes with a 4GB RAM and MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor. Plenty of RAM means you can use a lot of apps simultaneously and the device will still work smoothly.
The device has Dobly Atmos speakers which are loud and clear. There are two other variants available in 32GB with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. With 64GB internal storage, this phone seems to be the best buy for people who always need both sim slots active.
Overall Lenovo K5 Note is a decent device but not better than the Redmi Note 4. So if you can a Note 4 go for it otherwise K5 Note is a decent option with some cool VR features and dolby speakers which are not common in phones of this range. See full review.
