Tenor(10.or) G has a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080p and aspect ratio of 16:9, on the other hand, Redmi 5 Plus features a 5.99 inch Full HD+ bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080p resolution. Tenor(10.or) G has a metal back and top and bottom are made of plastic, while Redmi 5 Plus has a metal unibody design

Tenor G has never been about looks and Redmi 5 Plus with beautiful bezel-less display looks perfect. Also with metal body design, Redmi 5 Plus is more sturdy and has better build quality than Tenor G.

Tenor G is powered by Snapdragon 626 which has an Antutu Benchmark Score of 67000 compared to Redmi 5 Plus powered by Snapdragon 625 which has an Antutu score of about 65000. So Tenor G will give a slightly better performance but most of the time, both the phones will give a similar performance.

Both the phones are available in 2 variants, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. They also offer a hybrid sim slot to expand the storage by 128GB.

4. Software Comparison

Tenor(10.0r) G offers a stock Android experience with no bloatware apps and a smooth UI and latest security patches, the phone would also get an upgrade to Android Oreo, on the other hand, Redmi 5 Plus runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2. MIUI is not a very efficient UI and has bloatware that somewhat slows down the performance.

5. Camera Comparison

Tenor G has an upper hand here, as it offers a dual rear camera with 13MP+13MP sensor, while Redmi 5 Plus offers a single 12MP sensor. The image quality is better on Tenor G.

On the front camera side as well, Tenor wins the race with a 16MP sensor compared to a 5MP sensor on Redmi 5 Plus. The camera on Tenor is one of its USP and does a great job there with some inbuilt features.
