Flipkart Billion Capture Plus Brief Review and Pros Cons:

Flipkart, the top e-commerce company in India, is debuting in the smartphone industry with its Made in India, Made for India branded, Flipkart Billion Capture+. Considering the specifications, the budget phone looks highly promising. Let's check what it holds inside.

Flipkart Billion Capture+ comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, which is protected by a 2.5D Dragontail glass.The display has perfect colours and good viewing angles, and come with a pre-installed screen protector. It has good visibility Indoor and Outdoor and has adaptive brightness.

The Flipkart Billion Capture Plus is powered by Snapdragon 625 Octa Core 2GHz Chipset and comes in two variants with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage. With the combination of a powerful chipset and 3GB/4GB of RAM, Flipkart Billion Capture+ can handle all the multitasking very easily.

The body of this Billion Capture+ is made of metal with plastic in between front and back, the buttons are tactile and the build quality looks strong. The handset is comfortable holding in hand.

The camera of the Billion Capture+ is the thing where all the game lies, the rear camera of the phone is a dual camera setup, a combination of 13MP Monochrome sensor and 13MP RGB sensor, well set to give you the perfect images and depth/bokeh effects. The images clicked on the Billion Capture+ were very crisp and perfect in colour saturation. The rear camera also has a dual-tone LED flash and also has features like Face detection, Autofocus capability.

In the rear camera, there are several modes available like Auto Mode, Portrait mode, Super night mode that uses both the sensors to get the maximum light for a perfect picture in the low lighting conditions. Billion Capture+ brings a lot of software features and capabilities to the camera, there are filters that can be installed, with a preview of images with filters, available for both rear and front camera. The front camera of Billion Capture Plus is an 8MP sensor and has a wide angle lens, allowing to capture a big view. With the camera being loaded with so many things, its surely a Made For India smartphone, given how fanatic we are to get clicked on the camera. In terms of video recording, the rear camera of Billion Capture+ capable of recording 4K video   and the front camera is capable of recording up to 720p.

Billion Capture+ comes with an unlimited cloud storage to backup your data powered by tronX.  

With a perfect camera quality, the gaming department is also not far behind, in our initial testing and review, we did not find any lag or frame drop or heating issue during the game. Thanks to Qualcomm power efficient Snapdragon 625 chipset.The battery of Capture+ is rated as 3500mAH poised to give a more than a day battery backup with normal usage. It comes with a quick charger, which the company claims can give 7 hours of standby time in just 15 minutes of charge. 

Flipkart Billion Capture+ runs on Android 7.1.2, with a guaranteed upgrade to Android 8.0 (Oreo), It is not a pure Stock Android, but with some minimum bloatware and has pre-installed Flipkart apps. The UI is smooth and responsive.

The Antutu Benchmark Score of Flipkart Billion Capture+ is approximately 64000 which is similar to Antutu Benchmark score of Mi A1 of 65000. Capture+, as in other phones in this price range, does not have any IP rating and hence is not waterproof or dustproof. Know everything what IP rating means.

Near Stock Android Experience, Dual rear camera and powerful processor make it the top smartphone among the phones in the mid-range segment. The smartphone faces competition from Xiaomi MI A1 which comes with similar features and specifications.

Though, the phone hits the market with perfect specification and out of box performance in all the departments. We would like to test it for some time to comment on the build quality in the long term as its Flipkart's brand first smartphone.
