LG Q6 comes powered with Snapdragon 435 Processor, it is an entry-level processor but the phone does a brilliant job altogether. It is the first budget phone with the Fullvision 18:9 screen and the display and looks are really amazing.
The LQ Q6 supports 3000mAh of lithium polymer battery and is very smooth and lightweight holding in hand. The build quality of this phone is very solid and comes with US military grade certification so it is not going to break down easily. The phone has gorilla glass and the viewing angles altogether good.
LG Q6 comes with a dedicated SD card slot expandable up to 2TB and 32 GB of internal memory storage.
Coming to the camera quality, with the initial impressions, the rear camera is a 13 MP shooter which looks good and stable. Optical image stabilization handles moving video very well. The front camera is a 5MP shooter but somewhat is on the lower side, pictures have some noise and are a bit shaky. We are satisfied with the camera performance of the LG Q6.
Regarding the gaming performance of the LG Q6, it was a surprise with the Snapdragon 435 processor that there was almost nil frame loss noticed and no heating at all with continuously extended gaming for 30 minutes. The phone supports USB Type C connector. The speaker volume though is average and not very loud.
LG Q6 scores around 45000 on Antutu Benchmarks. This is not an excellent score but the performance of the device is really good so the benchmark score is not really relevant here.
LG is also offering one-time screen replacement for the Q6 within 6 months of purchase.
The LG Q6 lacks a fingerprint sensor but has a face detection unlock.
Suggest phone team tried unlocking it with the photo print many times but could not, proving the quality of the face unlock algorithm to be good. Compared with fingerprint unlock, the face unlocking could be somewhat time taking.
The only major disappointment that comes with the LG Q6 is no fast charging and the phone would take around 2.5 hours for a full charge.
Though the LG Q6 has competition in terms of performance and specification with the likes of Lenovo P2 and Redmi Note 4, it itself delivers very well apart from a little poor front camera. It is one of the first budget phones with a full vision screen and very amazing build quality and looks.
As per our expert team at Suggest Phone, the LG Q6 really stands out well in this price range and brings something new to the table.
