Moto Z2 Force Brief Review and Pros Cons:

Moto Z2 Force is the next flagship from Motorola which is launched in India on 15th February 2018. This phone comes with various unique features and tries to place itself in an altogether different segment.

On the design front, this phone comes with a unibody metal design(7000 series of Aluminium) which makes it very strong and durable. The display in a Quad HD Display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 Pixels which has vibrant colours and excellent viewing angles. The unique thing about the Z2 force is that the screen in shatterproof and comes with 4 layers of strength and 4 years of shatterproof warranty. (The scratches and other damage due to water are not covered.)

This sleek flagship smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 835 which was the best processor of 2017 and was seen in smartphones like OnePlus 5T. It captures a massive Antutu Score of 180800. This combined with 6GB of RAM makes it a multitasking beast and you won't ever face any lag whatsoever. It has an internal memory of 64GB which can be expanded up to 2TB with a hybrid sim(2 Sim or 1 Sim and 1 MicroSD).

The Moto Z2 Force comes with a Dual rear camera setup which combines a 12MP RGB Sensor and 12MP Monochrome sensor with a Dual-LED Dual-Tone Flash. The camera setup is used to provide a bokeh/depth effect. The images are sharp which look beautiful but sometimes the colors of the flowers or bright colors might look artificial. It supports various modes like selective focus, selective black and white which does the task well. The front camera has a 5 MP sensor and will not disappoint you with its performance.

In the daylight, the camera works very well and produces great saturation and colour reproduction to make the image look perfectly original. The Shutter speed is simply insane with almost no time between the touch and capture of the image. The camera though is not the best in the low light conditions with some scope of improvements as the images are not so sharp. In the video department, the phone supports up to 4K video Recording.

The software experience with the Moto Z2 Force is just brilliant as you get a very close Stock Android UI with very minimum bloatware. The UI is clean, smooth and easy to use. It runs on Latest Android Oreo and you would surely love the user experience the Motorola family brings. The fingerprint sensor is on the front and is very accurate and fast. the sensor can be alternatively used to turn the phone into sleep mode and wake up along with the support of swipe gestures.

This Z2 Force has a very sleek body and is super lightweight, due to which it takes a cut on the battery which has a capacity of 2750 mAh, just enough to support a day for normal usage. It comes with a fast charger of 15W and should be able to completely charge the phone in an hour. While the inbuilt battery is not big, the phone support Moto Mods, which are simply awesome, it takes your experience to a completely different level. The phone has a TurboPower Mod in the box which can be charged independently and support 6220mAh of battery life, so it comes to your rescue whenever you are running out of battery. Motorola also has other mods like Gaming Mod, Camera Mod which can be bought separately but you will love them if you are gaming or camera geek.

Z2 Force misses on the 3.5mm headphone jack and comes bundled with a 3.5mm jack to USB Type C Converter and a headphone. It is resistant to water droplet but is not resistance to water if it falls into the pool. It does not have any IP rating so be careful with Dust and water splash.

So Overall, this phone is a beast in terms of performance with some new features of mods not seen in any other smartphones yer but if you look to explore more smartphones in this price range, do check out OnePlus 5T and Honor View 10.
