Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has been launched as a flagship phone with Exynos 8890 processor. The phone is similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 in the specification, while S7 edge has better looks and battery. The phone comes with the AMOLED display and is best in class, perfect brightness, perfect color and display.
Regarding the Camera of S7 Edge, the rear camera is a 12MP shooter while the front camera is a 5MP shooter. The camera performance is best in class, one of the finest image quality in outdoor, indoor or low lighting conditions. It comes with a lot of modes, supports 4K video recording and can also shoot videos in slow motion but in 720p.
The gaming performance of Galaxy S7 Edge is also brilliant, there were no frame drops or lags were noticed. Also, no heating issues were observed while gaming. Samsung has added some features with gaming where you can record gameplay and watch it later. Something, which the heavy gamers would surely like.
S7 Edge supports fast charging but gets slightly warm during the charge, which can be seen on every phone supporting quick charging but there were no heating issues observed during usage. The phone is also IP68 certified and hence is dust and water resistant.
On the shortcomings, the speaker output is not very loud and the phone comes with a hybrid sim slot so if you are dual sim user, you would have to be restricted to 32GB of internal memory. Also, the fingerprint sensor just works fine but is a bit sluggish and not the fastest given to other flagship phones.
Overall Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is one of the best phones which delivers extraordinary on each front, with the great build quality, superior looks, design and performance. The phone though is a bit overpriced, something which is seen in every Samsung smart phone. With a little high premium price, this phone delivers to what it claims.
S7 Edge is a bit slippery because of its edge like design and glass at the back so you are advised to use a solid back cover to prevent it from shattering on fall.
