Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus 6GB Review and Pros Cons:

Samsung S8 plus is one of the best flagship Android phone in the market. S8 plus and S8 are similar in looks and design with S8 plus holding a bigger screen with higher rating battery, higher RAM and internal storage.

S8 Plus comes with a 6.2-inch screen size and is very comfortable holding and operating with one hand. With its perfect styling, S8 plus can be easily voted as the best-looking smartphone. The curved design further adds to S8 plus finest looks. In terms of display, it comes with Super AMOLED display which Samsung calls as the infinity display because of the screen size. The display quality, brightness are all top notch.

S8 Plus as in Samsung Galaxy S8 is powered by Exynos 8895 processor and comes in two variants 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB internal Storage. The rear camera is a 12 MP shooter and has similar specification as Samsung S7, and clicks really good pictures, while the front camera is an 8 MP shooter and is one of the best flagship front cameras. It takes crisp pictures and has been improvised a lot.

In User Interface, Samsung has moved from its TouchWiz UI to the newly called Samsung Experience UI, which is the most polished and refined version of UI from Samsung. The display is an always on display which does not affect battery life and can be very useful. Samsung S8 comes with a fast charger and 3500 mAh battery. The battery life for normal usage can last for just more than a typical day.

There are three unlocking mechanisms available on the phone, fingerprint scanner which is placed on the right side of the rear camera, IRIS scanner, and face detection. The response of the fingerprint has improved a lot from previous flagship phones from Samsung, Iris and face detection work well but you need to keep the phone at a particular angle to unlock, that can sometimes be impractical in places where you look to unlock instantly. Fingerprint sensor position can take some time to adjust on hand because of the 6.2 screen size.

S8 plus is the best Android smartphone available, with best looks and design, good RAM management, superb camera and many great features. The phone is water resistant and there was no heating observed at all at any point of usage. The phone though lacks somewhere in the gaming department in which the some of the heavy games at maximum graphics setting exhibit some lag. This could due to the MALI GPU used in Samsung S8 as most of the games are optimized as per ADRENO GPU.

The phone overall is a great Android phone from Samsung. Though higher on the price point as with every Samsung phone but delivers well for its cost. It tops the chart in terms of looks, design, build quality, camera and performance.

Some of the other phones with similar features and price range you can look at, are iPhone 7, Google Pixel, LG G6, One Plus 5.
