Samsung A7 2017 is similar to Samsung A5 with a bigger screen size. The A7 has a very solid build quality and is IP 68 dust and water proof certified. The phone runs on an Exynos 7880 octa core processor and does a good job. The phone holds a Super AMOLED screen that has good viewing angle and display.

Regarding the camera, the rear camera is a 16MP shooter and does a very good job. The image quality and color reproduction are good. The front camera is also a 16MP shooter but takes just an average selfie, not something which Samsung can boast off even with a 16MP front camera. Also, the phone does not support 4K video recording.

Coming to the gaming performance, A7 does a very impressive job, there is no lags or frame drops noticed even in heavier games. This phone also does a brilliant job in terms of heat dissipation and no heating issues observed with 15-20 minutes of continuous extended gaming.

The A7 comes with a dedicated sim slot and the memory is expandable up to 256GB. 

The battery life of a full charge phone can easily last for a full day and also comes with a fast charging. The phone also supports Samsung pay and you can swipe the phone at any SamsungPay POS. It also holds bike mode and always on-screen like features. The phone though is heavier to hold but one can become used to it.
